What is it?
It is a hormone. But more importantly a hormone precursor.

Also making changes in lifestyle to cut down on the estrogen overload that is so prevalent today, will allow pregnenolone to do it's thing better, since is won't be opposed by so much estrogen.
The major causes of estrogen overload in our modern world are chemical toxins, vegetable oils, and an over abundance of unsaturated oils in general. Introducing more good saturated fats into our diets can vastly improve this imbalance. So cut out unsaturated oils and increase good saturated fats. Good fats include butter, avocados, coconut oil, nuts, and raw dairy.
